Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. She is the middle of from two siblings, and raised in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by appearing in a number of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a film festival. Some of her television roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recent appearances included the science fiction-action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. In season 2 called Night Shift Ghanizada played Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as an actress on Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage from 2009.
